Did you miss me? J  A little missed communication between me and the school this week… so this note is late, brief, and missing an activities calendar.  Luckily, the students have begun preparing in earnest for CATS testing, so there isn’t a lot to report on the calendar.  This week and next, prior to spring break, every team will have at least one “CATS scrimmage” – a day where the modified schedule planned for testing is tried out to be sure everything runs smoothly during the actual testing, which begins on April 21.

Upcoming important dates:

Arts Night, Friday, March 28, 7-9PM – your chance to see the Road Show, along with Jazz Band and a Visual Art display

Spring Break, April 7-11 – no school for students OR teachers this week

Now the important part of the newsletter for the week – the attachments!  Our PTSA Board needs you!   Attached are handouts that should have come home about the different volunteer positions available for the upcoming school year.  Please look them over, look at your schedule, and contact Maria Sorolis (soro...@insightbb.com) to place yourself on the slate for 2008-2009.  We have several board members who are moving on to high school boards at the end of the year (including me), and we can’t wait to show you how EASY it is to step up and help out!  Click, read, and sign up… it’s just that simple.  (If you can’t open the attachment, there are hard copies of these flyers available at school… and probably in the bottom of a child’s backpack.)

Have a great week!
