Just a black screen with audio on my Sony tv. The Apple TV and iphone are connected via mirroring but cannot watchx Netflix !! Please help software on all devices are up to date. Cannot way h downloaded movies via Netflix and can watch live streaming movies via Netflix! Is this a restriction by Apple ??

Hi. This is a restriction implemented by the Netflix app. Apps can decide how they interact with AirPlay and mirroring. Apple is not involved. Have you tried not using mirroring, instead using the AirPlay icon in the lower right of the video player?

As I said the downloads are blocked from airplay, this is due to copyright and the agreement with the providers (not Netflix itself). You would likely find the same on other video streaming services that offer offline viewing. If you want to watch on another device then you need to stream directly or stream on the phone and use airplay

Netflix streaming customers who happen to share their account with other family members are having a frustrated Labor Day weekend as Netflix completes implementation of strict new limits on the number of concurrent video streams available for viewing.

Some membership plans allow you to watch simultaneously on more than one personal computer or Netflix ready device at the same time. If you are on the 1 disc out at-a-time plan [or stream-only plan], you may watch only one device at a time. If you are on the 2 discs out at-a-time plan, you may watch on up to two devices at the same time. Members on the 3 disc plan can watch on up to three devices. The maximum is four devices simultaneously, and that is available for members on the 4 or greater discs out at-a-time plans.

With the controversial Sept. 1 price increase effectively near-doubling the cost to watch video streams and rent one DVD at a time by mail, now may not be the best time to further antagonize loyal customers.

One word : greed! Netflix stock TRIPLED in one year. How did they thank their loyal customers? Two price hikes in 6 months and now this. Guess they think people are desperate for their services. I for one cancelled as soon as they announced the increase. Amazon prime has better quality video and they ate just getting started. Netflix had virtually buried blockbuster, but I think this may give them a boost as well as redbox. I hope consumers teach netflix a lesson that will reverberate throughout the industry.

There is something wrong with the picture used, the error code does not link to anything on the Netflix page (when you try to look up the code). Are you sure this may not have been on one of the super limited streaming plans?

We use your service primarily to entertain our Grandchildren. Once you have been a customer for a period of time, it is soon discovered the movies available for streaming is very limited. If you continue to raise rates and limit access, I would suggest you improve your product. At this point I am a very marginal customer. Give me one more reason, and I am GONE!

I have to agree. People who say that multiple people in one home can watch different cable/satellite channels at once are not considering that it is limited by a hard/proprietary connection.
If multiple simultaneous streams via Netflix were unlimited in number, you could pass out your login/password to anyone and you could all share unlimited streams for one single $8 monthly charge.

Netflix was just the dominate internet-streaming media in the market, there was nothing like it. Add to that a mailing DVD rental integrated in the same account and you had yourself the best movie service the industry had to offer.

OK, it looks like they quietly tried to slip this through again.
Everyone has been traveling and spending time with family and friends, then come home to the 1 movie already streaming message from Netflix.
2 others report this on Thursday, so this evidently has been going on for at least 2 days and, I suppose that they figured that noone would notice until now,
This could be my final straw with Netflix. How do they keep standing when they keep shooting themselves in the foot?

I have used Netflix for years and I have never had this problem. I guess I have been one of the lucky ones that never encountered this problem. While my husband and I do not stream movies at the same time very often, it does happen. We have never received this error message before. We have never tried to stream more than 2 movies at once though so I guess that is good.

Im canceling my netflix thats bull**** 2 streams? I pay for the damn thing and i cant watch it cause my brother and mom watch netflix all the time whats the sence two streams bah what a bowl of crap and talk about shi**y movies no new movies hardly ever. Youve done very bad netflix disappointed this two stream update just pissed me off ha add 4 dollars to view two more you can take that four dollars and shove it deep in your asses greedy fu**s.

I tested the auto - Match Frame-rate feature, but netflix and vudu still output at 1080p/60 hz. I could force 1080p 24 by selecting that as the output, and netflix ran at 1080p 24. But is Netlix native 1080p 24? or does forcing it convert it from whatever it is natively down to 1080p24?

I'm having something of a bizarre issue with my Fios service. It started a couple weeks ago. Some streaming services work fine (Netflix, Amazon Prime Video) while others do not load videos. (Paramount+, Disney+). When I attempt to play video on these services, it just loads endlessly and then times out.

The services work fine if I switch to cellular network service instead of the home wifi network.

Things I have tried:
Rebooting all devices, including the router
Reinstalling the streaming apps
Factory reset of the router
I called tech support and they tried bifurcating my home wireless network into 5Gg and 2.4G (so I could be sure to connect to 5G) and that didn't work.

Any idea on what this could be? Just trying to get these working so my 3 year old can watch Peppa Pig!

This all happened with an unstable router update a couple weeks ago. I had no internet at all and one of the TVs was down the Verizon tech came out and changed a few things and reset the router and doing tests it upload and downloads fast but I noticed that certain apps and things don't work.

Things work when I use 4 or 5G on the phone no issues there but when at home hooked to the router Disney+, Nest, Instagram and Twitter don't work correctly. (I am sure there are more just the ones I know about). Then the Verizon Stream TV Soundbar Disney+ does not work, the sound bar would not update so I had to turn phone into a hot spot to use the sound bar and update, Also other apps load really slow or don't work at all and hang. Everything was perfect and none of this crap happened prior to that Verizon router update. I was hoped for another router update to fix their errors but nothing happened yet.

If you know how to disable IPV6 on a Verizon Router (CR1000A) and a Fios Extender. Model: E3200 let me know I'll try searching around some more but this is the most about this current situation I can find is to disable IPV6

Found out how to shut if off go to the user guide here -router-cr1000a/ soon as logged in and shut off IPV6 everything started working. Both Stream TV bar and Verizon Samsung S22 Ultra all of a sudden got notifications from apps that were not working properly with IPV6 enabled.

THANK YOU. After 3 months of going back and forth with Verizon, buying a brand new Firestick, and telling them over and over it HAD to be a setting on my router but I wasn't sure which, this was the solution.

For the last few weeks 2 amazon firesticks and one andriod tv box will not work properly for hbomax and disney plus. All work fine if connecting to my cell plan hotspot service. Verizon just had us replace the router and still the same. Seems to be their end blocking traffic. Spent 2 hrs this weekend while they troubleshoot on their end. If don't get a solution will be switching to another provider as this is the main way we use our internet and TV.

Has anyone experienced any issues with streaming devices connecting to their Fios wifi? I have a Stream TV device that Verizon sent as a sign on gift or something. It worked fine for like 2 years then suddenly stopped connecting to my wifi. After many calls, nobody was able to help me and I finally found a solution on Youtube. Once I had the thing connected to my wifi again, none of the apps were working. For example, I can log into HBO Max, trailers will play before the movie begins, but then the movie just buffers and does not play. This is happening on every single streaming app. The apps are clearly connected to the network, but when you try to play anything, it will not play. Now I figured maybe it's the Stream TV device so I went out and bought a Firestick. Same issue is happening with the Firestick. The device is only about a foot away from my router so it's not that. I can stream any app on my iPad connected to the exact same wifi with no problems. Now the weird thing is, when I connect to my phone's hotspot using my cellular data, everything is working. It seems like something is not connecting properly between my router to my TV and to these streaming devices. I have called Verizon probably 10 times now speaking to different people each time. They finally sent me a replacement router which did not help anything. I have factory reset every thing you can think of, tried on different TV's, updated every device to the current software.

I would like to thank everyone for taking the time to post your comments and opinions related to this topic. This topic has been thoroughly discussed and will now be closed. Please feel free to open a new thread for further discussion. Thank you.

Hi guys. The Microsoft Edge is my favorite browser of all times, really, but not when I try to watch netflix or other video streaming services, it always breaks, I have no ideia what to do anymore. Always when I try to play something there's an error and then I need to reload over and over again, sometimes even when I just play the video it stop working when I try to play again. Help me to keep using this best browser that I've ever seen.
