Hi, have you already installed Widevine (see here: Wildvine missing on New Brave )?
If not, Netflix may not immediately recognize that it is installed, and will only display a black screen over time.

@bergerbse,
Sounds like this could be a hardware acceleration issue. Can you try disabling it and see if that helps?

I cannot find this problem in the discussions at all. When I turn on the RCA Roku TV, the home screen comes up partially then it goes to Netflix and tries to sell me Netflix. Repeatedly try to get home screen. Appears partially then reopens Netflix. Only happen on RCA not on sticks on Fires.

We understand that you're having a problem with the Roku TV since the Netflix channel keeps coming up on your home screen. We will be more than happy to look further into this issue. Can you please check if there is a stuck button on your Roku remote? What troubleshooting steps have you taken so far?

Thanks for responding. I thought that maybe the button was stuck and pulled it a bit and it seems to be the same height as the others. When I check it today, now it is stuck on the home screen and won't do anything. But at least it isn't netflix. This started when it seemed the batteries were dead in the remote. When I changed the batteries it did not work at all even though they were definitely fresh. I did factory reset and did on the stuff on line. That is when the Netflix stuff started to appear. Sometimes that on button works on the remote, sometimes it doesn't. Other times the TV has come on it appears all by itself. The buttons on the TV turn it off and on and do sound but not much else.

We will be delighted to help you with your Roku remote problem. Please try to see if there is a pairing button on the back of your Roku remote by taking off the remote's cover. Simply press and hold for 5 seconds until the green light begins to blink. If not, please press and hold the back and home buttons for 5 seconds to cause the green light to flicker.

I can stream Netflix just fine when I play it using my Chrome browser. But, when I try to play Netflix using Safari (version 10.0), I get one or two frames of video, and then a black screen. I still have all of the controls and slider and I still get sound, but the video is just a black screen.

I just now tried it again using Safari, and got code S7363-1260-48444350 when trying to play a video. The code referred to an incompatible monitor. I tried again, and got the same issue as before, where I get a few frames of the video, and then the video goes black, but I can hear the audio and I still have control of the playback (e.g., play/pause, volume, etc.).

When I unplugged my external monitors and used only the laptop screen, the video played. So, I now know that the problem has something to do with my external monitors being connected to my laptop, even if I'm trying to play the video on my laptop screen.

Simple solution (os High Sierra) but Netflix have so far ignored my message! Forget all their solutions particularly concerning Silver Light, as that is no longer needed. This only began for me with Safari 11.0.1. I was able to connect using FireFox without issue so it had to be Safari settings.

Thanks, but I've already done an Internet search to find a solution to my problem. I've re-installed the latest version of Silverlight, and that hasn't helped. Also, Chrome works just fine with Netflix, which I think also uses Silverlight. I've also tried restarting the computer and the other typical non-specific solutions.

- I do get the display error thing (thunderbolt > VGA displays attached). Checked with develop tab if netflix works in safari 10 (don't see another version of safari in the list). However, if I select 'firefox: mac' and allow the silverlight plugin (that I just installed) then it works.

If the issue is the HTML5 player (since in older safari versions with silverlight, it does work), how do I force Netflix to use silverlight? It seems it always reverts back to HTML5, even if silverlight's installed.

I'm new to Q2 and loaded Netflix but when it fires up the screen is to the side of me. I went to the Void option and repositioned the screen but when I go back to the living room, the screen is to the side again. Oddly, once when I put down the headset to look at my computer to look for instructions, when I put it back on, the screen was centered. After leaving and coming back, the screen is on the side again. Anyone know how to fix this? Thanks.

Thanks, but as I said, I already tried that option. If I don't reenter the living room and watch the screen in the void, it will stay centered, but if I return to the living room to watch, the screen immediately jumps to the right side again.

Have you already tried the re-centering option through the headset menu, or with the controller shortcut? On your right controller, hold down the Oculus button, and a circular bar will start to fill. Once it fills, the screen should be re-centered to where you're looking.

Hey farrelli! We hope you're having a great Friday. We wanted to check in with you and see if you're still experiencing errors when launching your apps/games. If so, we got your back and would love to hear back from you. We want your experience in the Meta verse to be enjoyable, so don't hesitate to reach out to us!

I haven;t had a chance to look at it much recently but the last couple times I looked, the screen was centered when I turned it on. Hopefully that won't change. However, in the living room environment, the screen is HUGE, like maybe six feet from me, so I have to keep moving my head to see all of it. I've again going into the Void mode where you're supposed to be able to center and rezize, but when I return to the living room environment, it's back to being huge.

I'm kind of getting the impression that this was built for an Oculus prior to the Q2, not only because the Void mode changes don;t seem to persist to the living room setting, but because the controllers that you see inside the VR are black and have a different button configuration than in the Q2.

This can be done, but wide monitors a pretty expensive, I would rather by 2 cheaper screens and use it on one pc. Or get the nice wide screen for working from home and a chep second screen for the Zwift pc.

Problem is both my work desk and the trainer desk will be quite narrow, so the single base would be quite awsome. But hearing you guys I might have to reconsider my options. Unfortunately, a wall-mount is no option for me. What I was thinking was something like a LG 35" Curved 35WN75C as that would be an awsome solution for a home-office setup, but if thats not a good solution for my zwifting as well I might as well try something else.

O I do not suggest moving that monitor stand around. My idea was you keep your current 2 screens on the monitor stand and get another screen for working from home, that will be cheaper than a super big curved monitor.

Use Splashtop Wired XDisplay to turn your iPad, Android tablet, Kindle or smartphone into a high-performance second display for your computer. Connect your device or tablet to your computer for a second monitor!

I have made sure all the display settings on the Apple TV unit are the same whether connected directly to the TV or through the Arcana. The only things different is through the Arcana the audio is set to Dolby Atmos.

I notice a short black screen / re-sync when starting a content that i didn't have or noticed when connected direct to TV?
All that is normal, you will have the same if you insert any device in between, like an AVR, splitter, matrix, switcher, video processor, and the more device you have in the same chain, the longer this will take, the only way to have that nearly not noticeable is SOURCE > DISPLAY direct since signal goes straight to panel driver. If menu is 60Hz and content 24Hz then there will be a re-sync like for any video format change, if you have SOURCE > TV, then sure you never noticed it but insert any device in between and you will have the exact same, just normal, HDMI re-sync.

If the previews are set to autoplay while scrolling through shows on Netflix, the screen will go blank with each selection because the Arcana is having to re-sync every time a new preview starts. To get around this, you need to disable the autoplay previews option under Playback Settings under your Netflix profile. This can be changed in your account settings on the Netflix website.

The Netflix widget disappeared from my home screen a few days ago. When I long press the home screen and select widgets, the Netflix widget is missing. I contacted Netflix and they said it's Samsung that deleted the widget. Is there some way to get the widget back
