Hey ladies,

So its been a rough couple of days as far as ultimate goes, and with all the recent drop outs, i've been re-thinking what we are doing this semester. I was really hoping we could get a lot (and by a lot I mean only 4) tournaments in this semester but I'm thinking it may not be a good idea anymore, and we may go with only 3 (either vegas or stanford, then davis and sectionals). I know money is a problem for a lot of people, and I completely understand. Like Phoebe and I said last night, this team is for you guys to have fun and learn frisbee, so I don't want us doing anything that you guy's don't want to do. I would rather have everyone be able to come to 3 tournaments and not stress out, rather than stretch everyone thin and go to 4 with only part of the team. I made this google form to get an idea about what people are thinking as far as tournaments are going. Pleassseee fill this out ASAP!! I need to make the decision soon.

So, I wanted everyone to make an informed decision about the first two tournaments, and here is the info:

Stanford Open: This tournament is a bit cheaper (bid is $300) and the drive is about 4 hours (Stevinson, CA). If there are people that live close, we could potentially stay with parents and save money on hotels.

Trouble in Vegas: We have been going to this tournament the last three years, and it is a pretty fun tournament. It is 8 hours away though, and the bid is $350. We will probably have to get hotels (unless we can stay with parents?). If you want to look at the website for vegas, here ya go: http://troubleinvegas.org/

Anyway, please fill this out soon and I will make a decision!

Thanks everyone,

~Morgan

I'd like to add one thing:

Even if money might be a concern for you, thus influencing your ability to attend tournaments/purchase jerseys, I would STILL LOVE to have you all come to practice, if you so desire. Please please please don't think that because you might not be able to afford attending tourneys you are not allowed at practice. I would still rather you come out to learn and have fun and enjoy what you can!!! I want you all to feel welcome, regardless!!!!

Who knows... you might win the lottery next year, and because you've been coming out to practice this season, you'll be a ROCKSTAR on the field!! :)

That is my spiel. Hope to see you all tomorrow night.
Jen
