Hey ladies,
So I just wanted to give you some updated info so we are all on the same page here! First off, Foghat was super fun and I'm glad some of you got to come and experience the awesomness of a hat tournament!! There will be more in the future, so if you missed this one, don't worry! As for practice, a few of us came out Wednesday but there were not enough people to do anything even though almost everyone at practice Monday said they would come. SO, as of now I am cancelling practice Monday and Wednesday of next week, BUT if enough people email/facebook me today or tomorrow afternoon saying that they definitely want to be there, then I can be out there to scrimmage if we have at least 10 people!
Jerseys- I just sent in the order form today and after I figure out the payment, it will all be on its way! Hurray!! I have figured it out to be about $10 for the shorts and $25 for the jerseys. If you would like to pay me next week, that would be fantastic. If you can't afford to pay me yet don't worry, just talk to me! As for shorts, the reason we didn't have black or green as a choice because a lot of people already had black shorts, and green didn't look very good with the blue in our jerseys. After everyone voted for shorts color, we ended up with almost everyone voting for purple. Sorry to those of you who wanted grey, but honestly, we will all look awesome in any color we have. :) I'm attempting to get white numbers on the purple shorts so it matches the white numbers on our jerseys, and it will all tie together.
I also wanted to let you guys know that we will be going a white elephant gift exchange at my house next friday! (December 9th). This is a annual thing we do, and the rules are that the gift must be $12 (you have to show your reciept) and the closer you get to $12, the earlier you get to go in choosing your gift! Normally everyone goes to thrift stores to find some hidden amazing thing (last year I found trampoline shoes at savers!), but anywhere works as long as it comes to $12. I will make a facebook event soon which will have more details.
Lastly, We are slowly figuring out how many people we can have for lei-out this year. Right now it looks like we can take 5 for sure, and possibly 2 more (not positive about that yet though). I really don't want to tell people they can't play, but if you 110% want to play email me and we can figure it out from there. I also told a few people that another option is to just come down for the weekend and hang out, but not play. I know a few people are already doing that so let me know if that is also an option for you! Its a great weekend just to hang at the beach so don't worry if you just want to come watch for the weekend, we will definitely have hotel room for you.
