Hi noders, 

Admittedly, I've never been to one of your meetups—but, I am one of the organisers of JSConf Australia, and it struck that I'd never dropped your group a line.

JSConf is the first dedicated javascript conference, theres been a few in the US and Europe, but why should we miss out on the fun? Thats what we thought, so here we are. 

We have some amazing speakers organised, featuring:

• Brendan Eich, the creator of Javascript
  
• Brian Leroux, Phonegap
• Issac Schlueter (npm, node.js)
  
• Alex Sexton, modernizr, jquery team member, yepnope.js

Two parties, a whole day of javascript in the raw… It'll be a blast.

Being lucky enough to go to Strangeloop recently, I can definitely voice that Brendan Eich is well worth seeing.  So if you get the chance, I would suggest taking it for sure.

Got my ticket the other day, really looking forward to it! :D

Do wish there was more information about the structure and schedule of the event though! Right now the only info is how much it is, the date, and who a few of the speakers are!
