You will be working with some cutting-edge technology to build applications that will be used by of thousands of customers. 

Back-End Developer duties and responsibilities 

• Responsible for developing and maintaining REST API stack 

• You love to work with open source and cutting-edge technologies such as Node.js, AWS lambda, RDS, DynamoDB etc 

• Write secure code and able to optimise/debug Lambda functions 

• Participate in all phases of the development life cycle 

• Work on the maintenance and improvement of existing data structures 

• Research, evaluate and analyse technical and design requirements 

• Develop additional server level functionality and tools 

• Troubleshoot and fix bugs/flaws to ensure optimal performance of APIs. 

• Incorporate best practises in development processes. 

• Assist with design strategy and planning. 

• Subject matter expert, providing: guidelines, best practices and training to other individuals 

• Formulate concepts and ideas for additional products, tools and services 

Back-End Web Developer requirements 

• Experience in Back End Web development 

• Understanding of or willingness to learn AWS technologies such as Lambda, Serverless, NodeJS, CDN, Route53, S3 etc 

• Knowledge on ElasticSearch, docker/kubernates, AWS ACS and GraphQL is highly regarded 

• Experience with CI/CD technologies such as Jenkins/TeamCity etc 

• Knowledge on TDD and tools like Jasmine/Protractor etc are beneficial 

• Always eager to learn and incorporate new 

• Able to clearly communicate both verbally and in writing. 

• A proven team player
