monitoring the node process using Monit

is anyone currently using Monit to monitor node.js?

i haven't used Monit for anything outside of apache / system resources before so I'm a bit confused as to what the configuration should look like. if anyone has a copypasta that would be awesome! i'll be sure to upload to the monit wiki @ http://mmonit.com/wiki/Monit/ConfigurationExamples

Here is what we use for transload.it:

The mynodeapp startup script may be Ubuntu 9.10 specific, but the
monit config wouldn't change much.

i was already looking at http://kevin.vanzonneveld.net/techblog/article/run_nodejs_as_a_service_on_ubuntu_karmic/ which seems to be the second part of your script. i'll try it out!
