NPM issue

I'm new to the MEAN stack and is facing difficulty installing NPM. one of the projects im working on required to get dependencies from bower and bower required nmp to fetch it. im a bit confused regarding the working of both and would appreciate if someone is willing to help me figure this thing out.

Based on your image, it looks like npm is installed.

You ran the command "npm install", which is not a valid npm command. (You didn't tell npm what you wanted it to install.)

If you need help using npm, I'm sure there are instructions you can easily find by searching the internet.
