Hello

I need seriously some guidelines for when a given NodeJS version supports a npm-module.
I use the two sensors: BMP085 and HTU21d and tried to install the various npm-modules that are available:

sensor_BMP085, BMP085 sensor, bmp085
and HTU21d, htu21d-i2c   .....

along with different versions of nodeJS: 0.10.16, and 0.12.2 and more

Either the BMP085 module or the HTU21 (yet not both) that can not be installed
The error messages are typically:
Failed at the i...@0.1.8 install script 'node-gyp rebuild' (+ 200 more)

I have tried to reinstall the node-gyp and Rasbian (R¶-2).

And yes, - I have asked Google:
some statements says:
this XXX module is not supportet by older versions of NodeJS,
and others:
this YYY module is not supportet by newer versions of NodeJS!!!

Help someone?

If a particular module does not work with the latest version of node, please report that bug to the developers of that module so they can fix it.

Hello again
Problem solved:
I found the source code for one of the modules - bmp085 - and copied two files to my working directory.
I included these in my node.js project, and voila: all works very well !!!
Primitive and old-fashioned: but good enough for me.
