I spent my free-time in the last few weeks working on a short little article about comparing Ruby's and JavaScript's object models.  Since there are often questions on this list where people have a hard time understanding the differences when migrating to node from rails, I thought this might be useful.

http://howtonode.org/object-graphs-3

If I got anything wrong let me know.

Hey Tim,

Nice to know that there are still smart people who not only share the code but also write articles.

Thank you for sharing it

Hi Tim,

these articles are helpful for newbies. They are so much more
interesting to read through than real documentation, which means I
read thru the whole thing in 10-15 minutes and actually learned
something :)

also building up a series of intro documents to Node.js is essential
for newbie-education and conversion ... documentation alone doesnt
explain w/ examples

thanks,
Jak

Hi Tim,

not a big deal, but in your opening sentence:
Part I of this series explained basic object graphs and visually
described references, closures, and basic inheritance in JavaScript.
Part II compared different styles for doing object-oriented
programming in JavaScript.

It would be cool if Part I and Part II were linked

They are linked somewhat in the right-side column (other articles by
this author). Also the community has contributed tagging to wheat.
When I get time, I'll tag all my articles and add it to the UI.
