[ANN] A simpler tool to filter json streams/logging output using JSONSelect and format the output

What?

Does your program output JSON? This tool will help you filter streams of json. Most importantly it's very simple.

Why?

All the tools out there seem to have too much ceremony, too many features, or are not specific enough for the task. logmap is nicely unix-ish.

floby/node-json-streams has a cli utility but with some kind of JSONPath selection. 

dominictarr/JSON.sh does that too.
