Hi,

ScaleConf is happening soon and I thought it's a great opportunity to promote Node and NodeCPT by providing a workshop alongside the conference. (Most people interested in scaling would at least want to investigate Node)

They were inititally going to offer a Hacker space where everyone could come together and break into smaller groups, but because of a lack of people wanting to provide such workshops they instead offer to help organise and promote several workshops at provided locations.

Is anyone keen to get involved in something like this?

Hi

Agree would have loved to be part of it too. I'm unfortunately out as I'm running part of the Google workshop.

But if anyone is interested send me a direct mail so I can see what I can do.  I can see about getting in touch with the ScaleConf organizers again. Can't imagine they'll say no.

@Rudolf how about you ? I've got intro slides already to save you some work (if that's what you're going for) or are you thinking something a bit more advance ?

And anyone else just pop me a mail.

Thanks
Johann

Of course we won't say no :)

We can advertise the workshop in the mail we send out to attendees before the conference.  We can probably look in the conference budget and get money for food/drinks for the workshop if necessary.  I think the main problem would be finding a venue - codebridge could work?
