There are trains connecting the airport to the city. You can go from
the airport to Köln-Deutz without changing trains. It takes about 15
minutes. A ticket is less than 3 euro, if i remember right.

Hi,
yes, there is. Take the subway from Köln Messe to Köln Messe/Deutz and
then a local train to the main station. It should take about 10 to 15
minutes.

(Köln-Deutz) before off.

The simplest way is to either walk (nice stroll across the Rhine) or
take a train to Deutz-Messe and walk from there (maybe 10 minutes
instead of 5 from the KoelnMesse subwaystation)

Else you would have to change subway trains once (either at
Friesenplatz or Neumarkt) to get to Lines 3&4)
