Start node-red without deploying flows ?

Hi

Is it possible to start node-red without deploying flows so that I can debug some code I was trying that is crashing node-red:

you can start it with an empty flow by pointing it at a new flow file

node-red new_file.json

Ok that starts node-red but without any flows (blank canvas), but what I want to do is start with the flows present but not deployed so I can delete the last flow that I made that appears to cause the crash problem.

ok got it .. then import .node-red flows from backup file

What node was causing that crash? It needs fixing to handle that error.
