How do I run an executable ?

Hi,

Have tried various things but cannot get a executable to run using the " Exec" function from the left menu.

I fill in the Command window = "C:\Program Files\Audacity\audacity.exe"

I would have thought this would work, but it says "/bin/sh: 1: C:\Program Files\Audacity\audacity.exe: not found "

What am I doing wrong ?

Not near my PC... But can you try... Escaping the \ by using \\ ?

Hi,

Just to let you know, was my mistake !

I have 2 PC's, one runs my Home Automation and the other is my day to day test PC.

The error was, my browser was pointing to the Node-Red on my Home automation PC, but I was trying to run the audacity.exe on my day to day test pc, so no wonder it couldn't find it !!!

Brilliant ! - we've all been there !

In theory the page title/tab should have the host in it if not local... but often tabs are too small to see it...
