The Tellstick is a small USB connected radio tranciever which plays well on Windows/Mac/Linux (Raspberry) and is used to control a wide range of 433 MHz based plugged in and built in electric switches and dimmers. This module can receive data from remotes and sensors as well as transmit data to switches and dimmers. And manage inputs and outputs!

I've never seen TS001 being used, so I really don't know.
However: The Telldus company makes 3 different devices:
Tellstick - The simplest device, the one you linked to. This can only transmit radio (meaning you may turn on a lamp from Node-RED)
Tellstick Duo - Transmitter and receiver. With this you can transmit radio as well as receive (meaning Node-RED may listen and act on incoming radio, e.g. from a sensor or remote control)
Tellstick Net - Ethernet device. Different kind of device. It's more or less an all-in-one solution with its own software.
What you most probably want is the Tellstick Duo, to be able to listen as well as transmitting data. Here's a link to the product range http://www.telldus.com/products/range

Nice work Emil, great to see more devices being supported.
If you are looking at devices like the duo, there is also the RFXCOM RFXtrx433E which is around the same price. Max Hadley has written a node for it and I can testify that it works great with Node-Red.
