Good morning/afternoon/evening

I am trying to explorer all the different options that I could have with an Alexa, and a Pi. 

I saw people using Wemo sim to turn on and off things (I am going to check this now, but seems quite straighforwad)

I saw people using normal HTTP request (Did not take a look to this, https://nathan.chantrell.net/20160328/amazon-echo-alexa-skills-kit-integration-with-node-red/ because I need to figure out how to do a secure end point in my pi)

But I was not able to find people explaining or using the node-red-contrib-alexa module. I installed and seems quite promising, but the documentation, for me is not enough  ( I am strugling with the Intent module, and that is just the first step xD)

I was wondering if anyone knows a hello world using the node-red-contrib-alexa, any tutorial that could explain a bit more the modules...etc.

If you look at the GitHub page for node-red-contrib-alexa you will see theres been open issue asking for a tutorial for about 6 months ( you aren't the only one who feels they need it)

But unfortunately the author has gone very quiet and doesn't appear to answering requests.  

Which is sad, as you say it looks very promising. 

Hopefully the author will either be able to dedicate some time to it, or add alternate maintainers so that the work they started can be made more useful.

Torin, can you provide any help to set up the Alexa Local node to do anything but "on-off"?  Like, dimming?
