WorldMap not showing in dashboard

Does anyone have a simple flow to show me how to use worldmap?

I placed an inject node (to inject coordinates to map) and a worldmap node but the map does not appear on my dashboard.

The worldmap nodes are not Dashboard nodes.

From its readme (http://flows.nodered.org/node/node-red-contrib-web-worldmap):

The map will be served from {httpRoot}/worldmap

If you want the map in the dashboard, use a ui_template node with an <iframe> pointed at the worldmap's path.

Hello David,

I am also new to Node-Red and I ran into the same situation as you did a while ago: Displaying map on Dashboard.

What I am doing is that I am sending Temperature data from my Arduino and I am feeding some dummy coordinates along with the data so I can see on the map where data came from.

Would you be kind to share your solution how you managed to view map? I came across few nodes like Worldmap, google geolocation etc and I am not exactly sure how to make make the map visible.

if you want to see it in dashboard (in a n iframe for example) - then there is an example that gets installed when you install worldmap...   go to menu - import - example - worldmap - Map in Dashboard

I was using Nodered to show the world map for our application , httproot in the sense what does it means ??? i dono much about node red.
As per the below some comments i imported the world map to dashboard but i m not able to see and data....

you need to change the link in the flow that points to the worldmap to point to that plus /worldmap
