Hi

Node red shut down.

Log shows:-

2 Jan 19:07:42 - TypeError: Cannot call method 'indexOf' of undefined
    at Request._callback (/home/pi/.node-red/node_modules/node-red-node-nma/node_modules/nma/lib/nma.js:24:14)
    at self.callback (/home/pi/.node-red/node_modules/node-red-node-nma/node_modules/nma/node_modules/request/request.js:364:22)
    at Request.emit (events.js:95:17)
    at Request.onRequestError (/home/pi/.node-red/node_modules/node-red-node-nma/node_modules/nma/node_modules/request/request.js:976:8)
    at ClientRequest.emit (events.js:95:17)

    at Socket.onerror (tls.js:1456:17)
    at Socket.emit (events.js:117:20)
    at net.js:441:14

Is this something I have set up wrong?

nma has always worked up to now with daily notifications.

Regards

Ian

Looks like it's an error the node (or the underlying nma module) ought to be catching.

I think it'll be a temporary condition - it will happen if the http request the node makes to the notify-my-android web service returns a particular error.

Many thanks.

If the condition is temporary it has not cleared after a couple of days. On every NR restart it shuts down shortly after on a nma event.

I have solved the problem for the moment by removing the wiring to all nma nodes. Is there a way that a flow can be modified to catch uncaught exceptions within that flow (or any where else if its possible)?

Their whole website seems to be very slow to respond if at all... I can't even login to check settings... so yes they are still having problems.

Is there any way I handle this gracefully with the nma node wiring reinstated?

Regards

Ian
