Hi

I am trying to install the TTN palette for node-red.
The installation fails with a long error message.

It indicates that there could be something wrong with gyp, node.js or npm (based on info when trying to install at the cmd line level on my server).
Has anyone seen this issue before?
How do I fix it?

The copy of Node-Red is installed on a Digital Ocean server that I run.
The OS is Ubuntu 16.04.4 LTS and it has is been updated with the latest packages within the last day or 2.

Here is a copy of the text that shows up in the debug window:

> gr...@1.11.3 install /home/redmist/.node-red/node_modules/ttn/node_modules/grpc
> node-pre-gyp install --fallback-to-build --library=static_library

I forgot to also mention that I have been able to install other addons (such as Sigfox) without problems.

The error (this is not a typed array) is normally because you are on an old version of Node.JS.

What does   node --version   return? I suspect it'll be 4.2.something. You need to update to a newer version of node.

Thanks.

I managed to upgrade Node.JS and have been able to install the TTN stuff.

However when I try to set up a ttn uplink node I get a ttn app node type missing error - flow stopped.
What does this mean????

What does your node-red log show on startup? It'll be logging some error related to the ttn node at the start.

I gave the server a reboot and it now seems to have sprung to life. I will do a few more tests to ensure it is all working.
Thanks.
