Change E-mail sender info

Hi,

Is there a way to change the sender info from node-red to something else on the send e-mail node ?

What does the info panel on the right say ?

According to the information in the Info tab you can set it it in the userid field or you may optionally set msg.from in the payload which will override the userid default value.

Or is that not what you mean

Hi,

Thanks Guys for pointing me in the right direction, I added the line:

 msg.topic = "A message from Whatever" 

to the function before the e-mail node and it worked a treat, it confused me because I was looking for a setting that said "A Message from Node-Red"  so I could change it, but it is a default that you don't see.

When you said you wanted to change the sender info I thought you meant wanted to change the From email address, not the email subject line.
