Dashboard menu is missing on Node-red webpage!

Dear Friends,

I need to get "Dashboard menu" on the right side of my Node-red Interface near to Info & Debug menu,  but it is missing in my Node-red which is running on RPI 3.

Please help me find the solution for getting the dashboard menu on the right side of Node-red webpage! so that I can do more layout configuration on my Node-red dashboard webpage!

If you click on the hamburger menu in the top right hand corner, then View you will get the option to show it.

Also check which node module you installed to get the dashboard nodes. It should be 'node-red-dashboard', not one of the various forks or clones that exist.

Dear Friend,

If the "Dashboard menu" is Not found under the Hamburger Menu, then is it due to unwanted Node Module installation in addition to node-red-dashboard module? So how should I get rid of this problem?

Should I uninstall & reinstall node-red again? If so what is the procedure to backup our flows?

Have you installed the Node-RED dashboard node?

Click on the hamburger icon, and then click "Manage Palette".

It should be displayed as "node-red-dashboard" the latest version is 2.8.2.

If it is not displayed under the "Nodes" tab, then search for it under the "Install" tab.

I have attached a screenshot showing what I am going to explain.

Go to the hamburger icon, then click on view. Then click on dashboard if you have the option there.

Once you have done this, it will open the dashboard tab on the right hand side pane.

Dear Friends,

Just now I found the solution for getting Dashboard Menu on the right side panel of Node-red Editor, which is done by following commands:

cd ~/.node-red

npm i node-red-dashboard

Then refresh the dashboard everything would be fine!

Actually, it should have worked even by manual node module installation ( of node-red-dashboard), I don't know what is behind this!

What you have done there is (I believe) installed the node-red-dashboard again, but this time in the correct location.

The "cd ~/.node-red" part of the code you entered is just ensuring that whatever command you enter next is going to take affect to that specific file location.

The "npm i node-red-dashboard" part of the code is just installing the node-red-dashboard.

I would suggest using the "cd ~/.node-red" whenever you are going to install a new node for your node-red.
