While playing with the dashboard ui I used some charts and gauge / level nodes. They get new data every 1 min.

At the desktop pc the ui is running well, but at the tablet (Samsung Note 10.2, Firefox, Chrome) and the Raspi (Pi 3, Firefox) it responds very slow. Mostly I have to wait 15-30 seconds till something happens when I try to switch between tabs or reload the page. At the Raspi it crashed after some hours and freezed it.

Not only the charts but also gauge / level only pages perform bad on the tablet. Text node only pages perform well.

Is this normal behavior of the UI?

Thanks, Swunn

I have this same problem, high usage memory in browser ~ from 0 to 1,5 GB

This is probably a large amount of  point data

Hi,

There have been a number of threads about this on the mailing list.

The charting library used by dashboard has a number of memory issues.

The next release of dashboard, due in very near future, replaces it with chart.js that has proven to be much more stable.

I thought the new charts were in the current release, or have I got confused and that was in a pre-release version?
