Mongodb not working with node js

Hi,
I installed mongodb driver through npm & the installed files were in my /user folder whereas the the npm is in c: drive.Now I tranferred the node_modules & package.json files of mongodb to npm in c: into node_modules & package.json respectively.But even now the database isn't connected.Since I am a newbee in node so please help.
