Job Title SAP BW Senior Developer

Relevant Experience

 

5 to 7 years

 

Technical/Functional Skills SAP BW, working experience on BW/BI projects with Power BI Experience Required 8 to 10 years

Roles & Responsibilities

· Define and Manage BI deliverables

· Formulate Key BI technical requirements

· Perform as-is analysis of the data warehouse and create future model solutions

· Design, Develop, test and implement presented and approved solutions Develop process innovation

· Provide planning and reporting solutions to ensure clients reporting needs are aligned to their business requirements.

· Perform business intelligence analysis by working with business units to determine, capture, and analyze business process and information requirements.

· Produce flow diagrams and process documentation; determine required data sources and element definitions; collect metadata; help identify and connect business rules; and facilitate business question development as well as draft reporting requirements.

· Define the solution architecture, design and configuration/development of datasources, BW objects and Lumira documents.

· Clarify the master data set up, configuration and integration strategies to develop tightly integrated solutions.

· Identify data quality gaps and develops a plan to close data quality gaps.

· Identify options for potential solutions, including assessment of technical and business suitability.

· Development using SAP ABAP, and SQL Script.

· Use industry expertise to help define best-fit solutions

· Write system documentation, procedures, and product descriptions.

· Conduct performance tuning and provide post-implementation support

 

Generic Managerial Skills

 

· Very good communication and articulation skills

· Ability to extract right set of requirements from customer by interacting with business directly

· Thorough understanding and experience working with onsite-offshore model

· Should be very meticulous in documenting and sharing requirements with offshore and extract quality work

· Committed and should be taking ownership of delivery

 

Education B. Tech and any other Software related streams preferred

 

Start date: May 15 th 2019

Duration: 6 to 8 months – possibility of extension
