FICVF image problem

Hi Noddi experts,
I have been experiencing unexpected noddi image, specailly ficvf image. I guess ODI and fiso images are satisfactory.

Would you please give me a suggestion to troubleshoot this problem?

Hi Mamun,

The time series are very helpful.  The CSF one tells clearly the issue.  The b=0 data have vastly different intensities.  The NODDI model requires them to be the same.  Are your data acquired with different TE’s?

TE=0.28 ms, and TR=3500 ms. The diffusion time was 18 ms. The diffusion encoding duration was 3 ms. A multishell diffusion scheme was used, and the b-values were 630, 1229, 1829 and 2433 s/mm². The number of diffusion sampling directions were 18, 18, 36, 36 respectively. The in-plane resolution was 0.15 mm. The slice thickness was 0.3 mm

Thanks for this.  If this is correct, something must have gone wrong with the acquisition or preprocessing.  I think you need to speak to your MR physicist who helped you set up the sequence.
