Lengthy processing per subject

Hi,

In this moment I am running the last version of NODDI using MATLAB R2018a with parallel processing in 48 core gpu. Each subject is taking around 3.5 hours to fit the noddi model, which I find odd considering the website suggests it would take 15 minutes with a 8 core gpu.

Is this normal?

Has anyone experienced this before? How would you make it faster?
