Hi,

I am fitting NODDI to my whole brain and the estimated voxel fitting is about 360,000 for example. I chose  batch_fitting_single over batch_fitting multiple cores as there is some problem with the timezone of Matlab and I am fixing it. So I submit a batch_fitting_single Matlab job to a -n 12 core HPC. And it has been running for over 40 hrs per subject now, what are the estimated hours for batch_fitting_single. Also, I am fitting the whole brain for all my subjects, and why is the voxel number of the fitting quite different for different subjects?
Thank you so much!

Best,
Zeno

Hi Zeno,

Only the voxels within brain masks are fitted.  The number varies for different brain sizes.  The programme prints out the current voxel it is fitting.  You can clock the time it takes to fit 100 voxels and use that information to work out how long the fitting of all the voxels will take.

Hi Gary,

Thanks for the prompt response. I am now trying the earlier release of 2012b to give it a fast running.

Best,
Zeno
