I guess no one's ever completely satisfied.

Anyway, MIDI stability is awesome and cut, copy, paste a fine addition.

In future versions, perhaps the background could be a choice, with white
being one of the choices. I think the network shows better with white
background.

yes, I've just purchased and downloaded 1.5, and boy, am I bummed
about the black background. The main piece I've done using Nodal, I
project so the audience can see the network as I build it, and the
visual effect at the end of the piece is part of the cool factor --
it's really damaged by the poor visibility of the nodes against the
black background. I have a lecture/demo this Friday for which I was
going to discuss that piece, so this is disappointing to say the
least.

Thanks for the feedback!

We're now looking into adding the ability to customise the colours.

Thanks also for supporting further Nodal development.

most appreciated!

(in the piece in question, I use four instruments - taking advantage
of their different colors - to recreate the Grid map shown here:
http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=110997398. Each
instrument represents a transmission network. Max feeds pitches/
velocities to Nodal; Nodal sends output to LiSa, which is loaded with
processed tiny electrical noises; LiSa is routed via Soundflower to
Live for mixing. Very very fun.)

I build the whole thing with the lines at angles, then at the very end
change to straight lines, and poof, it suddenly looks like the US.

thanks for enabling my weird ideas.

Yes - the old white background would be better and clearer.

Thanks

You (like James Brody) have sparked my interest- have you got any
screenshots, photos or videos of your work that you could share?

Regards,
Aidan

I'll send something today. Next request--now that the background is
light (Yay!) perhaps the edges and the node outlines could be a little
more saturated and/or the choices that you created for the grid can
also exist for the other elements.
