Nodal MIDI not working properly

Nodal used to work fine for me using LoopMIDI to route MIDI output into Reason or Standalone softsynths. Now, Whenever I choose a different MIDI out in the instrument setup then press play, Nodal reverts back to the Microsoft Wavetable Synth output. Confused and baffled by this sudden change of functionality. Any help would be appreciated as this is a great piece of software and I would like to use my DAW sounds again.

Are you able to see Nodal Output in any of your softsynths?

No. Nodal used to work fine with LoopMIDI and reason but just stopped working showing the behaviour described. Perhaps the problem lies with LoopMIDI?

Tried uninstalling and reinstalling both Nodal and LoopMIDI. No luck. TRied Nodal with LoopBe1 and get the same behaviour. If I change the output of an instrument in the inspector panel, as soon as I hit play it reverts back to Microsoft GSM Wavetable Synth output.
