After two months of development the NOC version 0.3.2 is finally
released. Major changes and improvements in the new version:

Peering Management
Underlaying data model reworked and better reflects objects in RIPE
database.

New model: Organisation

Peers got a new "status" field which can be one of "planned", "active"
or "shutdown", used to specify current status of the peer. aut-num
object generated using only "active" peers.

AS model got new attributes: as-name, admin-c, tech-c, maintainers and
route-maintainers.

At AS there are new attributes: as_name, admin-c, tech-c, maintainers,
and route-maintainers.

aut-num RPSL generation algorithm is fully reworked and returns all
necessary information to automatically update RIPE database.

Prefix-list generator is redesigned. The old version used whois
service and constuction of complex prefix-lists takes some time. In
addition, there were problems with handling recursive dependencies
between as-sets. The new version uses complete different approach.
Periodic task peer.update_whois_cache retrieves RIPE database
snapshots from FTP servers and fills the lookup cache in local
database.Prefix list generator uses cached data only that allows
to complex prefix list to be resolved in seconds. The recommended
interfal for peer.update_whois_cache - once a day.

As side effect - interactive prefix-list builder with a web interface
implemented (Peer -> Prefix List Builder). You can choose a peering
point, specify the name for prefix list and set AS or as-set
expression to resolve and instantly get config snippet with prefix
list.

And finally, the long awaited feature: NOC can update the descriptions
of aut-num objects in RIPE database via syncupdates interface (HTTP/
HTTPS). The list of AS objects now has a "Update RIR database" link,
which pushes new AS description into RIPE database.
For example: whois AS49813

Address Space Management
You can bind an IPv4 Block to a particular VC. Appropriative VCs are
shown in IPv4 block preview. This feature shown to be extremelly
useful in campus and service provider's environments.

Administrator can grant IPv4 block access permissions directly from
block preview.

Service Activation
Activators got an embedded FTP server.

A new profile: Raritan.DominionSX

A new script: Generic.configure, useful for massive configuration
changes using the Map/Reduce Tasks

New scripts: HP.GbE2.get_vlans, HP.GbE2.add_vlan, HP.GbE2.remove_vlan

Configuration Management
Multi-file configurations support.

The list of configs gets a new "Get Now" link, which allows you to
initiate an immediate re-reading of config for particular device

Virtual Circutit Management
Applopriative IPv4 prefixes are shown in VC list.

VC Provisioning is implementef for HP GbE2 switches

Performance Management
Javascript graphics renderer redesigned as jQuery plugin, increasing
the flexibility of application.

Time series can be previewed directly from the list.
