Dear all,

We are glad to announce that the national conference on image processing and machine learning, the NOBIM conference, will take place at Thon Hotel Polar in Tromsø on June 7th and 8th.

NOBIM provides a meeting place for researchers, students, and industry within image processing, pattern recognition, and machine learning to expose relevant research and development.

We hope to see many of you there.

NOBIM Conference details:

NOBIM is a professional forum for image processing and machine learning. We arrange conferences bi-annually, and this year we will meet up on the 7th and 8th of June 2023 at Thon Hotel Polar in Tromsø. We will have an exciting program, among others, with keynote speakers Jón Atli Benediktsson from the University of Iceland with a focus on remote sensing, image analysis, signal processing, and biomedical engineering, and Hanne and Tor Stensola from the University of Agder with a talk on machine learning for perceptual processing in early sensory cortices. We especially welcome early career researchers to the conference.

More information is available online https://sites.google.com/view/nobim/nobim-2023

The NOBIM conference is co-located with the annual NORA Conference (nora.ai).

Submission details:

Contributions in the form of abstracts of at most 500 words, with optional figures and/or tables, may be submitted as a single-page pdf file. Accepted works will be presented as talks. The abstracts will be handed out to the conference participants. Contributions need not be publishable and may also have been published recently elsewhere.

All research and applications within image processing and machine learning are within the scope of the conference. The best paper awards will be announced at the end of the conference.

Submission deadline: 15th of April 2023
Author feedback: 15th of May 2023

Registration deadline: 31st of May 2023
