Doc released Tim today. Was very impressed with his recovery. Ice and Tylenol as needed. Wear a neoprene sleeve when active. Very good news.

That's fantastic! How long was recovery....6 weeks? Super healer - it must have been all the great care he got at home!

Pat, when I broke my pelvis, I tried to ride too soon. I rode out to our gate and fell over. Had to sit there until Cindy and a neighbor came out to get the bike up and me and it back the house. About a month later we rode to Las Cruces to see a new grandson and Cindy had to get off to steady the bike so I could put the side stand down. The pain was not in a good place. Maybe a knee is less obtrusive if it hurts.

Somewhere in all of that, there is a moral/lesson to that story, something about good judgement and patience maybe. Just thought I’ld share but, on the other hand, Tim’s tough. 😊

He didn’t go far not even around the block. Knows it will take some more time.  Thanks for sharing. It’s too important to mess up!!
