Your social committee, with the help of a highly-paid consultant, has selected a new (to us) Cottonwood location—-Merkin Vineyards Hilltop Winery & Trattoria. It promises to be a stimulating and tasty occasion. The address is 770 770 Verde Heights Dr.; Cottonwood. Best to check your maps.

Time at the restaurant is the standard 11:00. Flagstaff Big 5 meetup at 09:50.

Reservation is in my name for ~10 persons. RSVP’s will be helpful.

Anybody who hasn't been to Merkin, it is up a STEEP hill in Old Town Cottonwood.   Not sure how much "fun" that would be on 2 wheels, but there is a parking lot at the top.  Could be more exciting than Jerome, but at least the paving is new!

You can also park in the public parking lot next to The Tavern IF you don’t mind walking up the stairs or taking the tram ride to the top. The tram ride $2 or free with Gelato purchase!  Gelato and a tram ride – I’m sold!
