Mumbai, the commercial capital of India, is a city that never sleeps. Rapidly changing at a feverish pace with every passing second, it is always on the move and so are the people living in it. In this story, we take an insight into the lives of the people living in this city and how the pace of the city affects their relationships and how they deal with it. No matter what happens life has to go on.

This is also a story of four couples and their lives in a metropolitan city. They belong to different social and financial strata and every one has got its own problems to deal with. What one couple has, the other doesn't? Each couple looks at the other couple and wishes that if only they had what the other couple does, their life would be a bed of roses, be it on a monetary level or on moral terms. What seems to be a major and almost insoluble problem for the first couple is just a petty issue for the second. Similarly, second couple's serious problem is not looked upon as a problem at all by the first and likewise so, with the other two couples. In a pursuit to achieve what they lack and in a desperate search of that one thing that would solve all their problems, they find themselves lost in the ever-moving crowd, where no one has time for themselves, leave aside the cares of the world.

In due course of time, all four couples come together with a distant vision of that one event which would end all their problems and set them free. Is it reality or just a figment of their vivid imagination?

Sirf Tum: An Unforgettable RomanceThe 1998 romantic film Sirf Tum starred Sanjay Kapoor, Priya Gill, and Sushmita Sen as the leads and showed an immense love triangle. Unknown to each other at first, a man and woman begin writing and developing feelings for each other. Even though the man's employer likes him, he does not envision himself as her partner. Unaware that they are already friends in real life, the pen pals meet up in person one day and discover how well they know and like one another.

Aarthi's (Priya Gill) educational credentials are found in a purse that Deepak Rai (played by Sanjay Kapoor) finds. He learns that the woman resides in Nainital and sends her belongings back. Nirmal, Aarthi's sister and brother-in-law are supportive to an extent. At the same time, Nirmal advises her to wed Mr. Prem, a well-known young businessman in his neighborhood.

One day, Aarthi sets off on her quest to find and meet Deepak without telling him where she is going. Due to a temporary employment agreement with his boss Neha (played by Sushmita Sen), he currently resides in Delhi.

Neha, Deepak's supervisor, is attracted to them romantically. However, Deepak's affection for Aarthi is deep. Due to this, he resigns and, in a desperate attempt to make ends meet, begins to drive an auto-rickshaw at the urging of Pritam, a man he met in Delhi when he first arrived and whom he befriended because he respected him as a person and who assisted him when he did not have a place of his own.

Aarthi had given Deepak a wool jumper with a knitted-on depiction of a "lit Diya" during their contact a few months prior. When Aarthi reaches Delhi, she searches for Deepak's residence and place of employment to meet him there unannounced, surprise him, and learn more about him.

Aarthi had borrowed Deepak's car and had been riding with him the entire day when she hadn't realized it when her rickshaw broke down when she first arrived in Delhi. Someone unintentionally spills coffee on Deepak's shirt as he drops her off at the train station. Deepak takes off his shirt. When Aarthi hears it, she cries out his name, and they both realize one another and the fact that they have been searching for one another all along.

Actor Manoj Bajpayee's upcoming film Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai has received legal notice from self-styled godman Asaram Bapu. As per a new report, Asaram sent the notice to the makers of the film through his charitable trust. A trial court had sentenced Asaram Bapu to life imprisonment in 2018 for the rape of a minor at an ashram in Jodhpur in 2013. The trailer of the film has a disclaimer that said that it is inspired by real-life incidents. A courtroom drama Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai is written by Deepak Kingrani. It is the story of a high court lawyer who single-handedly fought a case for the rape of a minor under the POCSO Act.

Speaking with Times of India, producer Asif Shaikh said, "Yes, we have got the notice and our lawyers will decide the next move. We have made a biopic on PC Solanki and I had bought the rights from him to make this film. Now, if someone is saying that the film is based on them, they can think whatever they can and we can't stop that. Only the film will be able to tell the truth, when it comes out."

As per the report, Asaram also asked the court to issue prohibitory orders against the promotion as well as the release of the film. According to the report, his lawyers claimed that the film is highly objectionable and defamatory towards their client. They also added that it can tarnish his reputation and affect the sentiments of his followers.

Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai has been directed by Apoorv Singh Karki. The film will be released on ZEE5 on May 23. It is scheduled to be screened at New York Indian Film Festival. Manoj will attend the special screening on May 13.

As quoted by news agency ANI, Manoj had said, "Portraying the role of PC Solanki in Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai has been an incredible experience as it is the inspiring story of an ordinary man who fought an extraordinary case against all odds for truth and justice...I hope that it appeals to the viewers and compels them to witness this story of victory and what all it took for PC Solanki to achieve what he did."

Outside the courtroom, Solanki, a devout Shiva worshipper, provides emotional and moral support to the victim, reinforcing her faith in justice. His firm belief in righteousness and his dedication to his profession helps him combat the threats that come his way.

Indeed, a significant and tragic element of the real-life case that parallels the movie is the intimidation and violence faced by witnesses, including multiple murder attempts and successful assassinations.

The Asaram Bapu case saw key witnesses facing extreme threats and violence for their willingness to testify against the godman. At least three key witnesses met their untimely death, with others surviving attacks or receiving death threats. These incidents appeared as clear attempts to intimidate other potential witnesses and obstruct the course of justice.

Manoj Bajpayee, playing the role of P.C. Solanki, personifies the heart and soul of the film. He is well-known for his intense roles, but in this film, he steps up his performance even more. His depiction of a small-town lawyer who dares to challenge the powerful godman is an eye-pleasing performance.

Manoj Bajpayee once again proved his acting prowess in his new film, Sirf Ek Bandaa Kaafi Hai. The film followed the real events of a brave and resilient Advocate Poonam Chand Solanki who fought a POCSO case against a self-styled godman. The movie received critical acclaim and a positive response from the audience.

Days after its release, it has now come to light that Advocate P.C Solanki has sent a legal notice to the film's producer for violating his intellectual property rights. As per a report from DNA, the producer informed that the names of all the characters in the film were changed except Manoj Bajpayee's character as they had only PC Solanki's rights.

It is now being reported that the lawyer is unhappy with the film. As quoted by DNA, P.C. Solanki stated, ''How can it be claimed that the movie is inspired by real-life events involving me when no NOC was collected from me, nor the script was approved by me?''. He further revealed that the people who signed an agreement with him sold the rights unbeknownst to him.

Solanki further added, ''I have filed a case in the trial court and notices have been served to the producers and others,'' Solanki also added that he was kept in the dark about the deal. He also blamed the party who bought it for failing to inform him of the same. ''My intellectual property rights have been violated,'' he condemned the actions of the parties involved.
