She is a faculty affiliate with the Center on Science, Technology and Public Life, which hosts the PhD certificate in Science and Technology Studies at USC as well as her research group on urban ecosystems with researchers across southern California.
After looking at a host of venues in the Boston area, we knew we wanted a non-traditional venue. So, we decided to rent a beautiful home alongside our favorite beach off the coast of Charleston to host our big day. We opted to only invite our immediate family and friends, as we wanted to provide an intimate and unforgettable weekend. Envisioning a southern affair with nods to our New England roots, the design focused on coastal romance with glamorous, modern touches. The color palette of cotton white, blush rose + gold was a driving force to bring this vision to life. With the help of our wedding planner, Samantha Anderson, and vendor team, we were able to do just that!
Her love of space and Griffith Observatory began when she was a youngster with field trips to local space centers and family vacations to southern California with stops at the Observatory. She saw the final night launch of a space shuttle. She still runs outside when the International Space Station is flying over her house.
