TEAM NOAA wants to thank each one of your for your support. This year we thought for sure the ride would be cancelled due to "Tropical Storm Karen", but low and behold the weather was absolutely wonderful. We couldn't believe it....temperatures were mild, the skies were a little overcast and fair winds. That was Saturday, and on Sunday...the front came through just enough to offer up a few sprinkles in the morning...wonderful temperatures the humidity dropping by 11 to a pleasant comfortable ride and by the time we reached the end, skies were blue, temperatures much cooler. What a great day! The weather was so cooperative that Mark and I dropped 30 minutes from our normal time for each day we rode, so we rode each day 5 hours.
This year, TEAM NOAA raised $1,040.00 towards the cure! Thank you !!! I started this ride in 2006, Mark in 2007...we have raised over $10,500 since 2006.
This was the 30th anniversary for the Hammond, LA- McComb, MS ride and there were more riders than ever. As a whole, the MS150 ride raised $687,105.00! All of this will go to good use towards a cure.
Mark and I already signed up for next year....so I guess you can expect some emails for support, we will do the work...you can just send us money!
