Er det noen som kan fortelle meg om det finnes bygdebøker eller slekts- og
gardsåge for Tjøtta og Alstahaug kommuner. ?

Det finnes visstnok ikke gårds og slektshistorie nei. Men skal være bygdebøker.

What names are you researching for Tjotta,Alstahaug? I have many films,(parish records)
indexes, and a few excerpts from books regarding Tjotta history. One I have on Tjotta I could send
you in attachment.

Jon Vestvik, Sandnessjøen, ga i 1997 ut boken "Husmannsplasser på
Tjøtta - anbefales !

Hi Karla, my wife's grandmother Astrid L. Pedersen Halsen is probally
from that area. Kan you find her and her familiy in those records?

Der findes en bog skrevet af Per og Leif B. Lillegaard:
'Alstahaugboka', udgivet af Alstahaug Kommune. Den er i flere bind.
Alrunen Antikvariat, Johs. Petersens Bokhandel i Mosjøen havde bind I
(Fedrene) til salg her i foråret.

Det er laget en "slektsbok" for Tjøtta. Den dekker bare en del av
befolkningen. Navnet på boka er:

Husmannsplasser på Tjøtta, skrevet av Jon Vestvik. Han selger boka privat.

Nice to hear from you. I am happy to try to find someone for you. I checked out my indexes
and came up a little dry. The only Astrid I was able to find was born to
a Peder Kristian Nilsen and Anne Hansine Pedersdtr. of Norbostad on the 15 of Januray 1905.(Actually this
was when she was baptised, so was born sometime in 1904 later part) She also
had a twin by the name of Petra Sofie. Could this possibly be the same Astid?
I was unable to locate any Anna Skavland or Peder Benjaminsen. I was thinking maybe there names
were different then. What do you think? Note, I had ancestors from both Halsen and Norbostad which are
very close on the islands of Mindness and Flatoya. This couple also had other children. Do you have more
info?

Seems likely, if you have registered more about these people I would
appreciate to recieve a gedcom or whatever you can send me. I'll try
talking to som relatives that may validate the dates better.

Det er også utgitt folketellinger for Tjøtta og Alstahaug. Disse er mulig å få
tak i gjennom biblioteket.
