I'm a Belgian woman from Liège, Belgium.
I have a good friend who lives in your country
and I'd like to address her my best wishes for
the coming year 2000. I think it would be funny
and surprising to write these words in her own
language. So if there were some cute people
who could translate the following text in Norwegian,
I would be very glad, and I thank them in advance !
Here is the text:
"Hi Britt !
Here we are. We will know a New Year's Eve
that is very special for some of us,
I mean for all the poor guys who will watch
the famous Y2K animal sat behind their
screens or hanged at their mobile phone.
Fortunately, I can escape such a stressing experience,
and I hope you won't be bothered by some "side effects"
of the flying insect :)
I will enter this year by inaugurating a new
decade in February: encouraged by the positive feedbacks
of some friends, I will pass the 30th cape in a positive
and enthusiastic way. Thanks to the travel offered
by Finnair during our Raid to Nordkapp, I would
also have a little taste of Scandinavia during the winter,
especially the Finnish countryside.
Afterwards, ski in Val Thorens is also forecast (interested ?)
I hope that your journey in a British haunted
castle was as enjoying as you hoped, and that no drunk ghost
with Scotch Whisky troubled your sweet dreams...
I cannot finish these words without wishing
you for the coming year, plenty of very good things in
you life: interesting job, relaxing holidays, bright
perspectives for your future, and a well-balanced private life.
