On next month's edition of "Forgotten Top Twenties", the MEMORY LANE SHOW
will feature all artists from the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. So many of
these great performers had tons of top twenty hits, but you only seem to
hear a small handful on today's radio. If there is a song or artist you
want included on this program, please let us know!
Remember to play show #182 all you have to do is go to our archives page
at http://www.palmsradio.com/rockittext.htm and click to show #182. You
do need real player and if you don't have that you can download it for
free at http://www.real.com
Also, in concluding we have also updated the Personality page and have
added Al "Cool Daddy" Smith and you can check that out at
http://www.palmsradio.com/bio.html

Back from the Great White
North
The Trouble with vacations is that they just don't last long enough.
Bennie Dingo (thas' me) and Jammin' Jan just returned this evening from
Alaska. We both had a great time and now it's time to hunker down and get
back to business. We will be having more shows coming up here this week
so we will keep you all posted! If the shows got a little monotinous and
wouldn't rotate on onlinemusic.com site well that is because we do the
rotating and we weren't here to do it.
We found a little gold mine in 45's in a little collectables shop in
Kodiak. I never had much luck finding music in Alaska, but there was a
stack of 45's in the corner of this shop -- at the walloping price of 50
cents each and were from '55 to '62. Needless to say we took the whole
stack :) -- it's getting harder and harder it seems you collectors out
there should know to find these vinyl gems -- it sure is a good feeling
when you do find such a treasure though! We will be doing a show of these
45's in our next show that we will get to
either tomorrow or the next day.
All the Rockin Best,
Bennie Dingo
