First off a big thank you to those that have sent us best wishes,
things are better now and we are ready, and back to keep that Rock-it
flying, and thanks to Debbie Snowdove over at our sister station First
Nations Broadcasting ( http://www.palmsradio.com/upnorth.html) for
covering for us last week. And we are happy to say we have a new DJ on

For First Time Doo Wop takes the lead
Since the beginning of our own website from 1998 we have had a little
internet poll asking our listeners what do they prefer to listen to on the
Rock-it. Well for the first time Doo Wop has beaten out Rockabilly. I
don't know if this is a change in taste of oldies music lovers or more doo
wop lovers are learning about Rock-it Radio.
But as of the 30th of May- 2000 here is the breakdown of the votes so far.
1950's Doo Wop 125 votes 39%
1950's Rockabilly 122 votes 38%
Rockabilly today 76 votes 24%
If you haven't voted yet and you would like to: Just go to the top of our

where it lists all the other Rock-it pages - Click to the one that asks
which you prefer Rockabilly or Doo Wop? And vote from there.
