client's own site. The client's main web / e-Commerce clients include
leading players in the technology world - organisations such as Sun,
Netscape, AOL and Lucent Technologies
Skills: Visual Basic, VC++, JAVA, PERL, IIS, SQL Server, MTS, COM
/DCOM, DHTML, ODBC, MTS, ACTIVE-X (+), ASP (+)
Excellent communication skills are a must, as is the ability to think
on your feet and have your ideas challenged. You will be capable of
taking a concept from a white board and developing a plan of
implementation, solving any problems along the way (including
normalising databases etc.).
Again, you should be willing to work in a hands-on technical role.
Finally, you must have worked on large scale projects and understand
the importance of team work. You should be able to provide evidence
that you have understanding of the full project lifecycle and have
experienced varied development and lifecycle methodologies
Experience: Min. 3 years as a technical lead E-Commerce/Web developer
Job Description: Must posses strong programming skills in the
development of complex E-Commerce solutions
Primary responsibilities include providing on-site consulting services
in building commerce, web and client server solutions
Includes implementing Internet technologies and the development of
Internet web sites in business to business scenarios
Additional responsibilities include development of web components in
VB/VC++, HTML coding, implementing database driven interactive
content, and implementation of Middleware technologies
Must be able to work within a structure application framework
Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and provide accurate time
estimates.
Applicable experience must be in a commercial setting
Salary levels will be based on skills & experience, as follows:
Career Experience Salary Level
Junior: $60,000-$80,000 p.a. plus package
Intermediate: $80,000-$100,000 p.a. plus package
(higher if with Project Leading experience)
Senior: $100,000-$120,000+ p.a. plus package
(only senior types would be towards the top end)
