I made a perl scrip which I run from matlab. The script runs the program
abaqus and dumps data to the command window. However this information is
not shown in matlab before the script is finished running. Anyone knows
how to see the dumped information continualy in matlab?

Hi, you can write in norwegian in this group, I guess from your name
that you are norwegian?

Anyway I will write in english just in case...

I am not using myself, but see if you can use this for something:

Læste du svarene på det link jeg gav dig?

Specielt:

"Kelly,
How are you calling your perl scripts? I have used this syntax before
to save the output of perl and see it in the command window as it was
running

[s, r]= dos('perl myperl.pl','-echo') "

PS: Undskyld jeg skriver dansk :)

Takk!
Problemet med denne variante er at jeg ikke får gitt innput til
perlscriptet mitt. Fungerer ikke å skrive
[s, r]= dos('perl myperl.pl innfil','-echo').
Har derfor brukt å skrive:
perl('myperl.pl','innfil')
da fungerer det, men uten kontinuerlig output:(
danske funker flott:)
