I am never giving up easy in any matter whatever.

Have solved some Vista problems that caused hang and hickups.
I took away or disabled in properties of my both network card on my Vista
computers the support for Ipv6.
I upgraded Active Directory schema on my Windows 2003 server as mentioned at
Microsoft Technet.
http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/windowsvista/aa905087.aspx

Finally I put a new host in my Windows 2003 server with its own IP-adress in
the DNS settings at the site there
_msdcs.xxxdomain.name.xx
Whoops and Vista computers and company network works fine and fast.

But Vista is going luckilly to have more competition from earlier Windows
systems such as WinXP and from Linux and Macintosh so the world of computers
at last looses its monopoly around Microsoft.

The last system in Apple Macintosh "Leopard" has good support for Microsoft
networks and domains so no we can put all kind of computers together and
have freedom for the users.
I have tested Linux Mandriva 2008 and the accompanying Open Office and it
works fine and has support for Microsoft networks through the component
Samba server.

So folks dont complain over Vista - get it to run or use the other good
alternatives.

Freedom for the people!!

RIGHT ON!!!

The dominance of Microsoft has run its course.

If you like Vista, then use it! If it seems like more trouble than it's
worth, there are several good alternatives with more becoming viable every
day. Pick one of those.

Just considering the Virus and Adware problems I'll show Microsoft's
dominance is really the root of the problem. It's been shown that other OS
have as many Vulurnabilities as Microsoft's. However, MS Products are the
largest Target. Since Microsoft OS and Applications are between 80% and 90%
of the Install Base, they provide 'an environment' for Viral Activity. Even
with most Systems Patched, there are enough left vulnerable for infections
to spread.

Just for a minuet let's say there were 5 viable OS with DIFFERENT
vulnerabilities. I'll also postulate 5 different Productivity Suites. All
use ODF so they render each others files accurately. They all also have
different vulnerabilities. That gives 25 possible combinitations. Even if
two or three combinitations were most preferred, they would still not be
prevalent enough to allow Viral Activity.

Of course, the Jerks on this Newsgroup will have something derogatory to
say. I imagine most of it will be STUPID!! I'll answer any Replies I find
thoughtful and informed.

If I don't respond to your criticism, YOU'RE A STUPID JACKASS. That should
cover it.
