Noen som vet noe om denne filmen..

Dette er den nye filmen til Danny Boyle og er skrevet av John Hodge som
også har skrevet filmer som Shallow Grave, Trainspotting og A Life Less
Ordinary..

Den ligger for øyeblikket til post-production så vi kan vel ikke regne med
at den kommer med det første...

Kan ivertfall bli morsom film..

Sakset fra "Ain't it Cool News":

ALIEN LOVE TRIANGLE (read this Danny Boyle addicts!!!)

And this is a report from our trusty hacker of English flesh, William
Wallace. His head is still perched upon the bridge, and my what a
vantage point to spy from...

"Tartan tinged spy, William Wallace, reporting for
duty, sir!!!

I've been hearing tit bits of news about a film called "Alien Love
Triangle" for many months,
culminating in a newspaper article about the project in "Scotland of
Sunday" (13/7/97). I felt the
urge to draw your attention to this film which should, very
definately, be... COOL!

It's a low budget (#10m) sci-fi film that will combine the talents
of some of Scotland's best
filmakers. The film will be divided into three parts. The first segment
will be written and directed
by Bill Forsyth (Local Hero, Gregory's Girl, Being Human). The
second part will be by the
directing/producing/writting team of Danny Boyle, Andrew Macdonald
and John Hodge who
were, as I'm sure you know, responsible for such cinematic greats
as Shallow Grave,
Trainspotting and, the soon to be realeased, A Life Less Ordinary.
Both teams will combine to
make the third and final part of the story.

What's it about? Well, Andrew Macdonald states that it's not heavy
metal sci-fi. It is about
human and alien sexual relationships. He decribes it as more Woody
Allen than Independence
Day. He says that it won't require a lot of special effects, just a
couple of planets which will
presumably look a lot like Glasgow since filming begins there early
next year. Early reports say
that the blend of Forsyth's light comedy and the Trainspotting team's
black humour works very
well together. All three parts will features the same characters but
there will be big leaps in space
and time. Bill Forsyth's segment will be set on an alien planet where
the inhabitants have lost the
knack of sexual reproduction (hey, it could happen to anyone).
Boyle's section will have the
aliens visiting Earth to pick up tips from humans on sexual
profligacy. The third part remains a
secret, for the moment.

No word on casting as yet. Past form would suggest that Ewan Macgregor
would be involved (the
Trainspotters have never made a film without him) but he might be busy
working on someother
sci-fi trilogy that I've heard some rumours about
lately."

Sounds cooooooooooooool. Danny Boyle rocks serious coolness from the
world. Let's see this
guy show us the Alien Kama Sutra bit. When does this thang
hit my isle?
