This is WRONG!!!
The correct spelling is: Vǫluspá (Voluspå)

Read more about it here:
http://no.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volusp%C3%A5
In Norwegian, though.

Yeah, sure, the Norwegians are famous for ortografisk ryddighet og
konsekvens!

Besides, could you please describe the second letter in your version above.
It appears to be a box. Should we tick it?

Yes? It still appears as a square. Do you mean a Danish/Norwegian o-Umlaut?
An 'O with a slash'?

It is an "a" with a small cirkel on the top. Pronounced like the vovel
in "Caught". If your printer not is prepared for it, you will get a
box in stead.

Thank you, but you and Brumle Måseegg must have misunderstood, or are you
really claiming that the second letter is an å? Go to Heimskringla
(http://www.heimskringla.no/norsk/edda/voluspa.php) and klick on any
language version: nowhere is there an å as second letter.

The second letter of Voluspį is an o with ogonek, as written here:

Thank you! I didn't know that Old Norse transcriptions make use of Polish
and Lithuanian letters. Obviously somebody has heard Old Norse spoken and
decided that this is the closest we can get to the original pronunciation
;-)
