I accidentally just deleted an account with most of my transactions
in it? Is there any auto backup feature the program has that Im not
aware of?

I thought If i close the program without saving that I should be able
to go back to the version prior to my mistake or is there an autosave
feature when the program closes?

Hi Garnet,

Don't close MoneyWell, simply use Undo to restore your account.
MoneyWell doesn't make backups unless it's upgrading your document
format. Please make sure to use Time Machine or some other backup
product to keep copies of your financial data.

Hi Kevin,

Is there any way to have MoneyWell automatically backup the data file
to a USB drive, or do I just do this manually? Thank you,

Ian Murray

Hi Ian,

For now, please do this manually. We have a plan to add a backup
process but even that will be to a local folder and you should always
back up your documents to an alternate drive/location in case you have
a hardware failure or personal disaster like a house fire.
