Sylvain,
Sorry that we couldn't make the iPhone App Store launch. The 1.4
release has been very high on our list because of the direct
connection to banks. As soon as that is out, our iPhone version will
move forward.
The trick with MoneyWell Mobile is that we are going to sync with your
desktop MoneyWell and that is a bit more intense that iPhone apps that
stand alone. More features will be discussed as we finalize them.

Hi Chris,
Actually, syncing over the cloud is the only way we can do it. There
is no direct syncing with a docked iPhone.

Daniel,
I wish I could give a solid date, but it depends on a few issues.
First we need to finish beta testing 1.4 and then we'll work on the
iPhone version. There are also sync services that need to be finished.
If we can get 1.4 out by the end of August then the MoneyWell Mobile
will ship later this year.

As the update to this article says, there is already a way for iPhone
developers to run a beta with up to 100 users and Apple has provided
this from the start. We will make use of this testing method and I'll
post a request for testers on our user forum just like I did with
MoneyWell 1.4. Thanks.

Thanks Aaron,
My main concern with syncing is privacy. I'm hesitant to keep customer
financial data on our web servers and I'd rather have Apple be the
safe house (via MobileMe) or keep the syncing more localized
(Bonjour). We are investigating various options. One way or another,
it will be very secure.

That may need to wait for a 2.0 release of MoneyWell Mobile. ;)

Hi Chris,
For most applications, the iPod Touch works just as well as the
iPhone. In the case of MoneyWell Mobile, we should have no problem
supporting the Touch with Bonjour syncing. More details will appear
after we get closer to a release date.

Daniel,
We will try to make the syncing flexible but we are limited to the
methods Apple allows. We are also concerned about security and will do
whatever it takes to make sure your financial data is not exposed.
Thanks.
