Hi,
I have visited extensively with US Bank concerning my ability to
sign in. I have my User Name: (my social security number) and
Password: (my ATM Pin) and nothing works (selecting quicken for mac,
quicken for windows, moneywell, or microsoft money). I have read the
previously discussed problem on this forum, and have done everything I
can do from my bank's side. Is this still a problem people are
having??? This program was the main reason I bought the mac update
package. I would love to use this software, but if I can't get the
info from my bank then it's useless.

Thanks in advance for your help,
Michael

Hi Michael,

You do need to be signed up for direct connect service with your bank.
My suggestion is to contact your financial institution and tell them
that you are having problems connecting to this account with Quicken
for Mac (don't say MoneyWell because it will confuse them).

Michael is right, I have always been signed up for the direct connect
service. I also talked to US Bank and they said you have to use your
SS # and the "software password" which in my case is the one in
Quicken. Nothing works, and I've tried every combination I can think
of. Now US Bank has implemented another security level. I'm not sure
of the right URL for direct connect, maybe that is the issue? Or
MoneyWell needs it's own "vault password" as Quicken does?

As I mentioned before, I have read the previous discussion on the
forums and I can provided the following information.

1) I have direct connect service set up. This service works with both
quicken for mac and my old computer that has microsoft money. Tried
yesterday.
2) Spoke with US Bank internet banking representative: Asked as you
suggested to use quicken for mac and was given the following
instructions:
Username is : SSN# (without dashes)
Password is : ATM code.
3) Have tried this as well as my online banking sign in info. (I know
that online banking is not the same as direct connect banking, and
that is why I listed above that I tried both services and also checked
that my online direct connect worked with quicken.)

Any ideas? Thanks again,
Michael

I've had the same problem, too, and have tried all the various
"solutions" to no avail. I've resorted to download from US Bank, then
importing into Moneywell.

Kevin, respectfully, this seems to me to be an on going Moneywell
problem which needs to be solved.

Thanks,
Ken

Thanks Ken,

I didn't realize US Bank was such a global issue. I'll try to
investigate this deeper and come up with a solution.

Hi Michael,

I'm going to work on discovering why US Bank is not work. Please send
your ofxlog.txt file to ke...@nothirst.com (not this user forum) for
review. You can find it in your ~/Library/Application Support/
MoneyWell folder. Thanks.

Hi,

I'm having the same issue. Was there a resolution discovered or is
this still being researched?

Thanks!
Robb
